Beyond

Reviewed.com is known for creating high-quality, extremely thorough reviews. They characterize themselves as a team of product experts (geeks, in truth) that put in the hard work of testing products so you don't have to. To put things into perspective: when testing a vacuum cleaner, they make their own dirt to ensure proper suction granularity.

Communicating this scientific—and unapologetically nerdy—personality without losing touch with the brand’s approachable side was our primary objective for the new brand identity.

The brand

We wanted to create a bold and colorful brand with an approachable personality, while ensuring the brand was perceived as professional and modern.

We characterized this new brand persona as “your nerdy friend who knows what’s up.”

The website

To keep the website manageable for the user, we created a structured, dynamic content system that was reused throughout the different page types of the website.

By pairing the dynamic content system with a bold use of color, we created an expressive visual language that communicates the new brand values.
